Introduction

The SoLID layouts with different configuration are shown here.

The standard setup plot can be download from http://hallaweb.jlab.org/12GeV/SoLID/download/sim/setup/

solid coordinate system used in simulation and cad
solenoid coil/cryo center at z=0, positive Z axis is going downstream along beam, X axis is to beam left, Y axis is pointing up, according to right hand rule.

SoLID Setup with short endcap

  • updated in 2016/10/28 by Zhiwen Zhao, based on SVN rev1169
  • The column of "Z range of space (cm)" gives space available for each detector. This should be a hard boundary where each detector can't cross to interfere with their neighbors at engineering level.
