Fig. 3: LAPPD box tests
Fig. 4: MaPMT box

    • Updates on Stand Construction
  • Cabling update:
    • About 100 8' BNC patch cables are done, still need to make 40-50 BNC and all the SHV:
    • Do we need additional SHV patch for all scintillators and calorimeter PMTs. I have enough ends to make ~30 cables, but that will cover the MaPMTs + a few extras. I will need to order more SHV connectors if the lab doesn't have enough cables.
    • Lemo cables? (DAQ side)
  • Mirrors update:
    • We have everything, just need to assemble
  • Electronics board update:
    • Have everything, sending the boards and 160 MCX connectors and PMT pin bases to JLab on Wednesday morning.
      • I need to find out how long it will take to have a board assembled.
      • Just ordered the LV cable (and connectors) needed to run up to 50'.
  • Tank delivery
    • Still Monday the 20th?
      • A1 is running well now! d2 change over "unofficially" delayed by 2 weeks.
      • Electronics board and LV cable are the holding issues.
  • DAQ
    • Are we ready to set up a cosmics DAQ
    • Computer purchase?
    • Analyzer programing?
  • Documentation for device
    • Safety documentation for JLab
    • Alignment, calibration, and commissioning procedures.
      • Lasers to align to beam-line.
    • Heavy gas fill procedure
      • Environmental/safety issues with heavy gas purge?
    • Run Plan
      • Tentative order:
        • Low rate / large angle with N2 and summing board
          • Access will be for install, will need to repressurize.
        • Low rate / large angle with N2 and LAPPD
          • Access will be opportunistic, will need to repressurize.
        • High rate / small angle with N2 and LAPPD
          • Access needed to switch to small angle.
        • High rate /small angle with N2 and summing board
          • Access will be opportunistic, will need to repressurize.
        • High rate /small angle with Heavy Gas and summing board
          • Access will be opportunistic, will need to flush and fill with heavy gas.
        • High rate /small angle with Heavy Gas and MAROC
          • Access will be opportunistic, will need to refill with heavy gas.
    • Kinematics switch timeline/plan

  • Any A1/d2n scheduling updates?
  • Engineering status
    • Updates on Tank Construction
      • New cradle design with 80/20:
        Fig. 1: 80/20 cradle design
      • LAPPD box has leaky BNC feed throughs. Not sure about MaPMT box.
    • Updates on Stand Construction
  • Outstanding items that need to be ordered/built/procured
    • Status of current orders:
      • MaPMTs (Ordered via ANL)
      • Mirrors (ECI film shipped, expected today/tomorrow)
        • Still need to do mirror assembly, i.e. attach film to carbon fiber blank. We have lexan film with no reflective coating to test.
      • Electronic summing board board (Ordered, board is printed and currently in component assembly)
        • Also will need to have MCX connectors attached (done at JLab, if Jack hasn't disowned us)
      • Gas regulation system (In hand, being assembled)
      • Cabling between prototype and patch-panel
        • Cabling (Components are in hand and set up to make 150 8' BNC patch cables and ~30 patch SHV, construction this week)
        • Do we have the additional SHV cables at the Lab?
      • Cabling between patch-panel and DAQ
        • Do we have the necessary BNC and SHV? Can we find the lemo cables? (Who to ask, Alex?)
  • Tank delivery estimate?
    • Assuming 2-weeks from today (Jan 20th). If we are ready sooner, we will deliver ASAP.
      • I'll likely be delivering the tank to JLab alone, so I will need some help loading and unloading the van.
  • Preparation of Cosmics test.
    • Space at the lab?
    • Electronics and cables ready?
    • Schedule for bench testing calorimeter blocks and scintillators.
  • Documentation for device
    • Safety documentation for JLab
    • Alignment, calibration, and commissioning procedures.
      • Lasers to align to beam-line.
    • Heavy gas fill procedure

        • What extra care do we need for gas tank, plumbing from tank on the floor to tank on table should bbe straight forward.
      • Cabling before patch-panel
        • What patch cables do we need? 134 BNC patch cables? Can we use cables from the previous prototype? How about SHV? Do we need 70 SHV patch cables also?
