Update from Darren/Spencer
- AI/ML PID - SULI Week 2
- Trying new ML architecture
- Preliminary Signal-Background merging
- Sim-Data Comparison
- Scaling ShowerSum for simulation by MIP peak with Gaussian smearing then scaling vertically by rate
- Vertical scaling ShowerSum for data using runtime (questions remain)
Update from Mike
- Spoke with Xinzhan (who is still at Fermi Lab). The offsets he determined have not been included in the current replay.
Update on Edge Finding
- Carter is continuing to work on the edge finding. Algorithm seems to be working out but some issues applying to the LASPD
- Jixie commented that LASPD signal does not go through the 10x Amplifier, so do not expect it to be the same size
Deconvolution
- Jixie discussed update on deconvolution algorithm. It currently works for the Ecal but not the scintillators
